In the Sokolniki district this year, the roof of a historic building will be repaired at 7 Kolodeznaya Street, Building 2. The work will be carried out as part of a large-scale regional overhaul programs.

The house was built in 1927 by the Soviet architects Mikhail Motylev and Anatoly Zhukov. The residential complex in the style of constructivism consists of several identical five-storey buildings. Until 1992, the houses were reconstructed. Only the second building of house 7 did not change its appearance and remained an example of the original architectural concept of the entire residential complex.

As part of the program, it is planned to completely change the covering of the pitched roofs of both houses and to repair the drainage system.

When repairing a roof, the entire old coating is dismantled, after which a new roof is made. All work will be carried out in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations.

When carrying out a comprehensive repair of pitched metal roofs, the attic floor will be insulated to restore the temperature and humidity conditions of the attic space, which increases the energy efficiency of the building as a whole and improves the operation of the roof.

When insulating the attic floor, mineral wool slabs will be used, which are modern heat insulators. If necessary, the crate, rafters and mauerlat will be replaced, all wooden structures will be treated with fire retardant compounds, hatches, as well as exits to the attic and roof will be changed.

The regional overhaul programs is to plan and repair the common property of apartment buildings in a timely manner. Such works include the repair of the facade, roof, foundation, cold and hot water supply systems, heating, gas and electricity supply, elevators.

Only contractors with special licenses from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation can carry out repairs.
