The buildings are located on Main Street.

This year, it is planned to renovate the roofs of three historic buildings in the Vostochny district. The works are part of a large-scale regional program overhaul.

The buildings are located on Main Street (houses 1, 2 and 4). They were built in 1937 for employees of the Stalinist (now Eastern) waterworks and the Akulovsky hydrotechnical unit. In 1939, the settlement was referred to the category of workers’ settlements, and it was named “Stalin’s Village”. In 1961, it was renamed into the working village of Vostochny, reassigned to the Pervomaisky District Council of the city of Moscow.

The work is carried out in strict accordance with applicable building codes and regulations. The workers will completely change the covering of the pitched roof, repair the drainage system, insulate the attic floors in those places where it is provided for by the project documentation, which will increase the energy efficiency of the building as a whole. For this, mineral wool slabs are used – a modern heat insulator.

When repairing pitched metal roofs, if necessary, the lathing and partially or completely rafters and Mauerlat are changed, all wooden structures are treated with fire-retardant compounds, hatches and exits to the attic and the roof are changed.

The goal of the regional program is to plan and repair the common property of apartment buildings in a timely manner. Such works include the repair of the facade, roof, foundation, cold and hot water supply systems, heating, gas supply and electricity supply, elevators.

Only contractors with special licenses from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation can carry out repairs. Objects are regularly checked by specialists Department of Cultural Heritage of the City of Moscow… Construction control employees are engaged in operational, intermediate and acceptance monitoring.
