The facade of the building will be re-plastered with marble chips. Special attention will be paid to the restoration of decor and bas-reliefs, as well as historic lanterns at the entrances. The restorers will restore the decoration of the stairs to the second floor (white stone steps, metal railings), as well as the decoration of the foyer (stucco decoration, decoration of columns and pilasters with artificial marble, balustrades, lighting fixtures).
In 2021, experts plan to restore about 100 architectural monuments in different districts of Moscow. Among them, the building of hydroelectric power station-2 on Bolotnaya embankment, three pavilions at VDNKh, the Abrikosovs’ residential house, the Naumov-Volkonsky mansion and others.
