The crews of the boats of the submarine sabotage forces and means (PDSS) detachment of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) conducted an exercise on mine and counter-sabotage protection of the water area with the implementation of practical grenade throwing and firing at the sea range in the Black Sea water area.

According to the plan of the exercise, unidentified high-speed boats were found near the base of the Black Sea Fleet ships, which did not communicate in the common radio network.

As part of countering the threat of landing underwater saboteurs and mining the water area, the crews of the Raptor-class patrol boats worked out actions to intercept and detain, as well as to pursue and defeat small targets.

During the exercise, the crews fired at sea target shields and mock-ups of floating mines, and also conducted practical grenade throwing.

The exercises of the crews of the Black Sea Fleet patrol boats were held in accordance with the combat training plan of the fleet forces.
