The military commissars of fifteen constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the area of ​​responsibility of the Southern Military District (YuVO) reported on their readiness for the 2021 spring draft.

Representatives of the organizational and mobilization department of the headquarters of the Southern Military District checked the provision of republican, regional and regional assembly points with clothing, the staffing of military medical commissions with medical specialists, and also made sure of the anti-epidemic measures taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection and its introduction into military units.

In addition, for the disinfection of the premises of military commissariats and assembly points intended for the reception of conscripts, special treatment was organized by the units of radiation chemical and biological protection of the Southern Military District. Special treatment activities will be carried out according to the approved schedules throughout the entire period of the spring conscription.

Currently, more than 380 draft commissions are deployed on the territory of the Southern Military District. The largest number of them has been created in the Rostov region – more than 60, more than 50 draft commissions will start working in Dagestan, 46 each – in the Volgograd region and in the Kuban.

Earlier it was reported that more than 5.7 thousand military personnel and civilian personnel of the military commissariats of the Southern Military District were vaccinated against Covid-19.
