Participants of the project’s activities improve their skills, gain knowledge, and find new friends.

The Moscow Dialogue project is successfully operating in the capital. Its participants meet with various media persons – journalists, artists and politicians. These are not ordinary meetings – listeners gain practical skills in public speaking, time management, business planning, learn how to increase personal efficiency and achieve their goals.

“Our project appeared two years ago. The decisive factor for its creation was the request for communication and self-development from the capital’s students. In 2019, I became part of the team as the head of one of the areas, and later became the head of the entire project. Thanks to our events (lectures, master classes, communication with participants and speakers), the guys improve their skills, gain new knowledge necessary for further career and personal growth, ”says the project manager Evgenia Shavkun.

Now the “Moscow Dialogue” has several directions: “Useful breakfasts”, Moscow Talks, youth forums. More than 10 thousand students from 30 universities of the capital are involved in the community. They took part in such major citywide events as Youth Day and Student’s Day, as well as meetings, lectures and master classes of the youth laboratory “You are in Moscow” and the online marathon “You are in Moscow”. In total, more than 500 thousand people joined the project’s online events, and the number of events held exceeded 200.

“This year, we have changed the direction of ‘Beneficial breakfasts’. Now the guys can not only chat with a famous person over morning coffee, but also prepare a culinary masterpiece with him. That is, we have combined interesting communication and a culinary master class. Also in 2021 we plan to implement joint projects with educational online platforms popular among young people, ”says Evgenia Shavkun.

According to her, the main thing is the project participants, their successes and results.

“Children who have acquired knowledge and skills in the Moscow Dialogue project become more effective both in their studies and at work, and also find new friends! It is they who personally motivate me to continue developing the project, coming up with new formats and implementing events at city venues. It is important for me to be not just a project manager, but to become a friend and mentor for the guys, ”she emphasizes.

Registration for all events of the Moscow Dialogue project is carried out using a mobile application “Test Moscow”.

The youth is heard here

Student Yekaterina Balueva learned about the Moscow Dialogue at the presentation of the project at the Moscow Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy.

“I am the head of the student council at my university – the Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G. Razumovsky. Almost from the very start of the project, we began to work closely with him. Speakers, master classes, trainings, meetings with interesting people who can teach a lot – we get all this in full at the Moscow Dialogue platform, ”notes Ekaterina.

According to her, the name of the project very accurately conveys its essence, because the most important thing that young people receive as a result of attending the events of the Moscow Dialogue is feedback.

“Most of all, I am captivated by the openness of the organizers, and indeed of all the people involved in the project. Here, no one feels barriers in communication, everyone is ready to support the initiatives of the students, to find some common points of contact, just to give advice. But, in my opinion, the ability to hear and support young people is extremely important. We have all this thanks to the project, ”says Ekaterina.

Excellent networking

Valeria Krivshinko is a future journalist. Last year, friends invited her to one of the project meetings.

“It was something new for me, because I haven’t taken part in such projects yet. Since then, I have not missed the events of the Moscow Dialogue – communication with people energizes and motivates me, I am always afraid to miss something. And also delicious sandwiches at “Breakfasts with Benefit” ”, – Valeria shares her impressions.

Moscow Dialogue is also an excellent networking.

“For example, as a correspondence student, I used to sorely lack student platforms for communication. The Moscow Dialogue project is exactly the place where all this is fully compensated. Communication, professional development and, of course, new acquaintances. There are no useless events (as they say, for show). Everything is extremely informative. Personally, I remember most of all the three-day visiting student forum, where we developed the so-called soft skills, that is, flexible skills that are extremely important for a future career. They will not teach this either in schools or universities, ”Valeria is sure.

To participate in the activities of the project, you need to subscribe to its official page on the social network “In contact with” and follow the updates and announcements of events.

“Moscow Dialogue” is implemented within the framework of the project office “Youth of Moscow”created in March 2020. His work is aimed at researching and identifying the needs of youth communities, the development and implementation of projects, events and actions. Moscow Dialogue is one of eight youth projects in the office.
