Five years ago on the portal the service of online registration of a Muscovite card for students has appeared. During this time, the option was used by almost 700 thousand students of the capital’s universities.

Prior to the introduction of this service, students had to visit the My Documents center twice: to apply for a card and to receive it. They can now apply online – the process takes a few minutes. You will need to visit the My Documents center only once to pick up the card.

Since 2016, students of the specialty, undergraduate and graduate programs of accredited universities located in Moscow have been able to apply for a Muscovite card on the portal. In 2018, such an opportunity appeared for graduate students and residents, and since 2020 – for assistant trainees. Since the beginning of 2021, more than 20 thousand applications for obtaining a Muscovite card have already been issued.

With the help of the card, students can receive discounts in almost 7.5 thousand shops and enterprises in Moscow and the region, as well as make an appointment with a doctor at information kiosks in clinics. How to get a Muscovite card online

To apply for a card on the portal, go to the Services section, go to the Education tab, click Higher education and select the Muscovite card for student / resident / postgraduate student service, or follow the link and click “Get a service”

In a special form, you should indicate your passport data, registration address, choose a university and a course, and attach a photo. After filling out the form, you need to choose one of the Moscow centers “My Documents”, where it will be convenient to get a card. She will be released within 30 days from the date of submission of documents. As soon as the card is ready, in the applicant’s personal account on the portal mos.rua corresponding notification will appear. To get a card in the center “My documents”you will need a passport or other identity document.

If a student does not have Russian citizenship, he needs to apply for a card at any My Documents center.

Students, residents, graduate students and full-time trainee assistants who study in accredited educational institutions of Moscow can apply for a Muscovite card. If a student, postgraduate student, resident or trainee assistant is registered in Moscow, but studies at a university outside the capital, he can also apply for a card. A prerequisite for issuing a Muscovite card is the availability of information in student registerwhich appeared in Moscow in 2015.
