In the Sea of Japan, the ships of the Pacific Fleet continue to carry out routine combat exercises.

At the training ground near Zheltukhin Island, the Sovershenny corvette conducted artillery fire to suppress invisible coastal targets hidden by the terrain, destroying targets imitating protected firing points and military equipment of a conventional enemy. The fire was conducted from a 100-mm universal shipborne artillery mount A-190.

Earlier, the small anti-submarine ships Sovetskaya Gavan and Blizzard conducted a joint exercise to repel an attack by air attack means of a simulated enemy in the Peter the Great Gulf. From the 76-mm AK-176M artillery mounts, the ships fired at the dropped parachute target. Also, in support of the sea tug “Alexander Piskunov”, the MPK artillery fired at a towed naval shield imitating a surface ship of a mock enemy.
