Due to the high soil moisture in the Krasnodar Territory and in the republics of the North Caucasus, there is a threat of landslides and mudflows. Operational groups of the Russian Emergencies Ministry are working on the spot.
EMERCOM of Russia coordinates the timely closure of ice crossings – 79 of them and one winter road were closed in a week. There is a decrease in the number of accidents and deaths in water bodies.
In addition, the past period was characterized by the passage of dangerous and unfavorable meteorological phenomena on the territory of 31 subjects. The operational duty shifts have developed and brought to the control bodies more than 1.7 thousand models of the development of the situation.
For preventive purposes, traffic restrictions were imposed on 20 road sections on the territory of six constituent entities. Currently, the movement is carried out as usual.
Avalanche danger persists in 15 regions.
More than 870 people were rescued by fire and rescue units in response to more than 1.3 thousand road accidents. 222 people were rescued by military rescue and search and rescue teams.
Over the past week, there were more than 4.1 thousand fires, more than 250 of them were liquidated with the involvement of volunteer fire brigades.
