As part of the meeting of the patriotic club “Memory”, the paratroopers of the Guards Airborne Assault Caucasian Cossack Regiment held a meeting with students of the pedagogical faculty of the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute (SSPI) and a lesson in courage “To live – to serve the Motherland!”

The event was received by the soloist of the vocal-instrumental ensemble of the guard regiment foreman Alexander Sergeev and the poet of the guard senior sergeant Sergei Lobanov, as well as students, management and teachers of the pedagogical faculty of the SSPI.

The staff and management of the Institute’s library have prepared a book exhibition dedicated to the Armed Forces and the Airborne Forces.

During the meeting of the patriotic club, they talked about the service that servicemen carry out guarding the borders of our Motherland, about the military profession, about the qualities that a soldier should have.

The guests were pleasantly surprised by their creativity: Sergei Lobanov is a talented poet who combines service in the Russian army with the creation of poetry collections, and Alexander Sergeev is a composer and musician, head of the vocal and instrumental group “Shturm”.

The guests performed their poems and songs about love, the Motherland, the Airborne Forces.

The conversation turned out to be so interesting that students and teachers did not immediately want to let their guests go.
At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the faculty expressed the wish that the regiment’s servicemen would become frequent guests of the patriotic club “Memory” and the literary club “Slovo”, which function at the pedagogical faculty of the SSPI.
