The work is scheduled to be completed this summer.

The overhaul of the Tushinsky DK bridge across the Skhodnya River in the South Tushino region in the northwest of the capital has begun. The specialists started dismantling works in Fabrichny proezd.

On the bridge, the beams of the lower superstructure will be replaced, the concrete surfaces of the abutments will be repaired, the slopes will be strengthened, expansion joints and waterproofing will be replaced, and new asphalt will be laid. Instead of a reinforced concrete bumper, a metal trans-barrier will be installed.

The renovation will take place in two stages. At first, half of the bridge will be completely closed with the direction of movement towards the 4th microdistrict of the Skhodnenskaya floodplain. Transport will be able to pass one lane in each direction. Temporary markings will be applied to the carriageway, warning signs will be installed. The sidewalk on the opposite half of the bridge remains open for pedestrians, and two unregulated pedestrian crossings will be organized at different ends of the structure.

At the second stage, work will take place on the other half of the bridge. The work is scheduled to be completed this summer.
