Experts, among other things, put in order the 19th century estate in Lyalin Lane, as well as residential buildings of the early 19th century on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard.

In 2020, the program for the integrated development and arrangement of the central part of the city was overfulfilled by three percent, said the first deputy head Department of urban planning policy of Moscow Dmitry Stulov.

The program is being implemented in four directions. The first deals with the indicators of real estate commissioning and reconstruction on the territory of the Central Administrative District.

“In 2020, due to the temporary suspension of construction due to a difficult epidemiological situation, 29 facilities with a total area of about 605 thousand square meters were commissioned. In 2021, construction and reconstruction of 45 facilities with a total volume of 665 thousand square meters is planned, ”Dmitry Stulov said.

As part of the second direction “Development of transport, engineering infrastructures and parking space” in 2020, two new metro objects appeared – a section of the Big Circle Line and reverse dead ends at the Delovoy Tsentr station of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line. Also, two engineering infrastructure facilities appeared in the Central Administrative District, in particular, a water pipeline siphon across the Moskva River in the area of 1905 Street. Improvement and engineering support of the pedestrian zone from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior to the Yakimanskaya embankment was carried out. In addition, over the past year, 2323 parking spaces built into capital construction facilities were equipped in the Central Administrative District. The plans for this year include the commissioning of two road facilities, the transfer of the Luzhniki-Severnaya terminal station to the territory of the Luzhniki-Yuzhnaya city passenger transport terminal, 10 engineering infrastructure facilities, as well as the installation of another 2,652 parking spaces.

The third direction is “Formation of the external appearance of the city center”. As Dmitry Stulov noted, the prefecture and specialized departments put in order the 19th century estate in Lyalin Lane, as well as residential buildings of the early 19th century on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard in 2020. Major repairs have been carried out in 31 buildings. 856 trees and more than 59 thousand new shrubs have been planted.

Within the framework of the fourth direction – “Urban planning regulation of activities” – they develop and approve projects of zones for the protection of cultural heritage objects, as well as the planning of the Central Administrative District, in order to determine urban planning opportunities and establish the necessary restrictions.
