Listeners will learn about the history of the stations located in nearby areas and their attractions.
An audio guide was launched at the first Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-1), which tells about the history of the stations located in nearby districts and their attractions. The audio guide was prepared in cooperation with the Arzamas educational project.
Listeners can learn about the “Russian Cambridge” near Novodachnaya station, why Mark station got such a name and how the lost palace was found in Skolkovo, as well as why the main attraction of Lobnya disappeared and how it returned.
Audio guide available on the siteas well as in the application of the Arzamas project. Listeners can independently choose the station they want to know information about, or listen to the entire audio tour along the MCD-1 route from Odintsovo to Lobnya.
The passengers themselves asked to launch the audio tour as part of the Moscow Central Diameters crowdsourcing project.
Special QR codes will also appear on MCD trains soon. Having scanned them, MCD-1 passengers will be able to go to the site to listen to the audio guide.
