The head of the GUFSIN of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region, Major General of the Internal Service Alexander Fedorov, presented the members of the Public Council at the GUFSIN with certificates of honor from the Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia Alexander Kalashnikov and the chairman of the Public Council at the Federal Penitentiary Service, director Vladimir Menshov.

Oleg Medvedev, Alexander Andreev, Alexey Dolgov and Igor Chernogolov were awarded with certificates of honor of the Director of the FSIN and letters of thanks from the head of the GUFSIN for the active work carried out in the institutions of the penitentiary system of the region.

Alexander Fedorov, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council, presented a recently published book about the history of the penitentiary system in the Middle Urals.

Then Alexander Fedorov and members of the council discussed the problems facing the penal system, issues of patriotic education of employees, work with veterans.

Note that last year, members of the Public Council actively participated in providing assistance to the medical department and institutions of the GUFSIN.

In total, from March to December 2020, 800 respirators, 2,400 pairs of gloves, 350 protective suits, 200 goggles, 3,000 face masks were handed over to the doctors of the GUFSIN.

The Public Council also purchased two office MFCs for the Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center MSCh-66 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Yekaterinburg, and 183 food sets were handed over to medical staff.
