In Dagestan, airborne training (ATP) training was conducted with servicemen of the airborne assault and reconnaissance units of the Caspian Flotilla marines at a modern airborne complex (VDK).

The personnel studied the theoretical foundations of the parachute jump, the equipment and equipment. Also, the Marines improved their skills in packing parachutes, adjusting equipment, fastening weapons, practicing jumping and landing on shells and VDK simulators.

Ground training was carried out by unit commanders under the supervision and guidance of officers and instructors of the airborne service. Specialists paid special attention to the training of personnel in the performance of parachute jumps in various conditions to difficult terrain, as well as the order of actions in the event of emergency situations in the air.

The final stage of the VAR is the practical implementation of parachute jumps. Military personnel who have mastered the ground training program and passed the tests of the commission are allowed to jump.

During the final stage of the winter training period, more than 400 marines of the Caspian Flotilla will jump with the D-10 and Arbalet-2 parachute systems.
