Servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the Amur combined-arms formation of the Eastern Military District (VVO), stationed in the Amur Region, the Jewish Autonomy and the Khabarovsk Territory, conducted a training session to overcome the Scout’s Path.

The training was conducted as part of a combat training program. During the training, the scouts worked out the actions of the group to overcome the elements of the obstacle course, and also repelled the attack of the conditional sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the conditional enemy in the daytime and at night.

To successfully overcome the obstacles of the “Scout’s Trail”, a soldier must be in good physical shape, be able to shoot accurately from all types of weapons, throw knives and sapper shovels.

All these elements allow scouts to improve their skills in performing combat missions in the most difficult conditions.

A special obstacle course, about 1000 meters long, includes about thirty elements, including stone walls, underground passages, suspension bridges, barbed wire fences, fragments of urban structures.
