In Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan) the Russian Cup tennis competitions were held. The athletes of the Central Sports Club of the Army have won 10 awards of various denominations – 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
In the men’s singles final, the strongest was the army athlete Alibek Kachmazov, who defeated Evgeny Filippov – 6: 3, 6: 0. The match lasted 1 hour and 21 minutes.
Another CSKA representative, Vladimir Korolev, won the match for the third. The soldier in 1 hour and 15 minutes defeated Maxim Ratnyuk from Simferopol – 6: 3, 6: 3.
Polina Kudermetova became the winner of the Women’s Country Cup. In 1 hour and 43 minutes, she prevailed over Ekaterina Yashina – 6: 3, 7: 6 (6).
Elena Pridankina became the bronze medalist, her rival Olga Doroshina starred before the bronze match.
Army tennis players Olga Doroshina and Sofia Lansere became the winners in the women’s doubles tournament. In the decisive match, they defeated Anastasia Hasanova and Sofia Shatova in 1 hour and 27 minutes – 7: 5, 6: 4.
Elena Korokozidi and Noel Saydenova are on the third step of the podium.
In men, Alexander Boborykin and Timur Kiyamov became the owners of this trophy, who in 1 hour and 55 minutes beat CSKA athletes Alibek Kachmazov and Alexander Lobkov in the final with a score of 7: 6 (5), 4: 6, 15:13.
The third place was taken by Oleg Besednikov and Dmitry Myagkov.
In the competition among mixed duets, there were no equal to the potential favorites of the competition, representing CSKA, Natele Dzalamidze and Ivan Gakhova. In the decisive match in 1 hour and 35 minutes they beat Anastasia Hasanova and Mikhail Elgin with a score of 7: 6 (8), 6: 3.
Bronze medals were won by Daria Mishina and Sergei Poghosyan, a pupil of SSHOR CSKA.
