Acceptance of applications for subsidies and grants for exporters is open in the capital, documents can be submitted until April 30. This was reported on Wednesday on the official portal of the mayor and the government of Moscow.

“Stimulating measures certainly help entrepreneurs to develop and improve their financial performance. And an increase in business income means an increase in tax payments to the budget. Last year, the total amount of subsidies and grants approved by exporters increased to almost 500 million rubles. In the city, the volume of non-resource exports of Moscow companies for the year increased by a third and reached about $ 40 billion. And this despite the difficult external conjuncture against the backdrop of the pandemic, “said the vice-mayor of the city, Natalya Sergunina, quoted by the portal.

Subsidies allow entrepreneurs to reimburse up to 12.5 million rubles of costs associated with the transportation and sale of products in foreign markets. This includes the costs of patenting, certification and adaptation of products, as well as certification of management systems. A grant (export cashback) can be 10% of the proceeds from export contracts registered with credit institutions, but not more than 10 million rubles or 50% of the amount of taxes paid to the city budget.

Until recently, the condition for obtaining an export cashback was the existence of a fulfilled export contract in the amount of at least 6 million rubles, which was deregistered by the credit institution no earlier than the last two years. Applications from exporters were accepted in paper form. This year, it became possible to receive export cashback under long-term contracts, obligations under which are of a continuous nature (for example, they provide for regular deliveries of products) until they are fully fulfilled. Also, the submission of applications was transferred to electronic form.

“In 2020, more than 150 applications for export cashback were approved for a total of 380 million rubles,” said Alexei Fursin, head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, who is also quoted by the press service.
