One hundred and fifty conscripts from the regions of Siberia, the Urals and the Volga region will go to serve in the Presidential Regiment. This was announced by the head of the organizational and mobilization department of the headquarters of the Central Military District (CVO), Major General Alexander Linkov.

“This spring, one hundred and fifty conscripts will join the ranks of the Presidential Regiment. The candidates passed the competition, successfully passing the tests of professional, psychological selection and in-depth medical examination, ”said Major General A. Linkov.

Units of the Presidential Regiment carry out tasks to ensure security and safety measures for the Moscow Kremlin, participate in protocol events at the highest state level, serve in the guard of honor at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, provide horse and foot guards.
