Due to the stained glass glazing, there will be a lot of sunlight in it.

A semicircular overhead pedestrian crossing will be built along the exit from Novoyegoryevskoye Highway to the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). Visually, the structure will resemble suspension bridges located between the towers, said the chief architect of Moscow, first deputy chairman Moskomarchitecture Sergey Kuznetsov… In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it. ”

The above-ground part of the crossing will be made using a structural and post-transom system with stained-glass glazing, the height of the structure will be three floors.

“Moskomarkhitektura approved the project of a semicircular pedestrian crossing as part of the interchange with the Moscow Ring Road. The total area of the building will be about two thousand square meters, and the width will be three meters. The transition will be adapted for people with limited mobility. In addition, due to the stained glass glazing, there will be a lot of sunlight, which increases the comfort and safety of pedestrians, ”said Sergey Kuznetsov.

A pedestrian tunnel will also be built in the design of the right-turn exit from the Novoyegoryevskoe highway (from the region) to the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road. Both facilities will be built into a new transport interchange in the area of the 14th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, where the market, the shopping center and the Kuzminki-Lyublino Museum-Reserve are located.

There is already a junction with two overhead crossings, but they are not designed for the growing traffic of pedestrians and cars.
