On March 13, in the suburbs of Kaliningrad, a serviceman of the Baltic Fleet, Lieutenant-Commander Stanislav Muratov, rescued children drowning in the lake.

In his spare time from service, the officer walked with his son near the drinking lakes in the village of Kosmodemyanskiy in the Central District of Kaliningrad. When he passed one of the reservoirs, the officer noticed that on the side of the lake, where ice was still preserved, two guys were playing. At some point, the boys fell into the wormwood.

A soldier with the appropriate special training rushed to the aid of the exhausted children, pulled them ashore and provided first aid.

The officer was not going to advertise what had happened. A couple of days later in the evening in the apartment of Lieutenant-Commander Stanislav Muratov the doorbell rang. The father of one of the rescued boys came and sincerely thanked the officer for saving his son. He said that he had posted announcements throughout the village with a request to respond to the person who had saved the two guys, and indicated his phone number. The text ended with the following words: “Buddy! Please call. We really want to shake your hand! ” This ad was seen by the wife of Stanislav Natalia. Without saying anything to Stanislav, she herself called the indicated number and told the parents where the savior of their children lives.

For the courage shown in rescuing the dead, Lieutenant-Commander Stanislav Muratov will be encouraged by the command of the Baltic Fleet.
