Competitions of the Russian Ski Orienteering Championship were held in Surgut. CSKA athletes won 12 medals of various denominations – 6 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze.
In the cross-country skiing long with a common start among women, representatives of the Central Sports Club of the Army took the entire podium. Alena Trapeznikova became the best with a result of 1 hour 14 minutes and 16 seconds. Warrant officer Maria Kechkina finished second with a lag of 14 seconds, showing a result of 1 hour 14 minutes 30 seconds. Ensign Tatyana Oborina closed the top three – 1 hour 14 minutes 42 seconds.
In the cross-country skiing – long classic among women, the awards were taken by the same athletes. “Gold” on the account of Trapeznikova – 35 minutes 30 seconds. Kechkina has the second result – 35 minutes 55 seconds. Oborina won the bronze – 36 minutes 24 seconds.
Among men in the cross-country skiing – long with a general start, ensign Stepan Malinovsky showed the second result, covering the distance in 1 hour 37 minutes and 08 seconds. Alexander Zlobin won – 1.36.51 sec. The third time was with Artem Dorm – 1.39.41.
Also, Maria Kechkina and Tatyana Oborina became champions of Russia as part of the team of the Perm Territory in the relay. The result of the winners is 1 hour 15 minutes and 34 seconds. The second place was taken by the team of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – 1.19.50, the third – by the team of the Leningrad Region – 1.23.59 sec.
In the marathon for men and women, representatives of CSKA were also the winners.
In the women’s race, Kechkina won, covering the distance in 1 hour 39 minutes and 16 seconds. The second result was shown by Trapeznikova – 1 hour 40 minutes and 25 seconds. Daria Shupikova closed the top three – 1.44.11 sec.
Among men, Malinovsky became the owner of the gold medal, having spent 2 hours 03 minutes and 57 seconds on the distance. The second time was for Alexander Zlobin – 2.04.04, the third – for Maxim Taskaev – 2.04.18 sec.
