Servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the Northern Fleet Marine Brigade conducted a training session on the tactics of raiding operations in the Arctic. The event took place at the military training ground of the compound in the Pechenga district of the Murmansk region. To move in deep snow, the Marines used two-link Aleut all-terrain vehicles and A-1 army snowmobiles.

The scouts worked out the search and detection of sabotage groups, the organization of an ambush, as well as the conduct of battle when repelling an attack of a conditional enemy.

During the training, special attention was paid to the acquisition by servicemen of the skills of the combat use of modern weapons, technical and special reconnaissance means, life support techniques and camouflage when organizing an ambush.

To develop the skills of scouts to make non-standard decisions in a dynamically changing environment, the unit commanders made unexpected adjustments during the training of tactical training tasks by the soldiers.
