Dear friends!

I sincerely congratulate the command, veterans, servicemen and civilian personnel of the Main Directorate of Combat Training on a significant date – the 100th anniversary of the foundation!

Over a century-long history, the employees of the department have made a significant contribution to ensuring the country’s defense capability, the formation of high professional and moral qualities in the personnel of the army and navy.

All these years, the GUBP team has been actively working to improve the training of troops, to develop methods for mastering and practical application of the latest weapons and equipment in any conditions.

As before, in its day-to-day activities, management is guided by the principle of “teaching what is needed in war.”

Along with the traditional forms of combat training, with your active participation in the Armed Forces, a competitive system for improving professional skills is used. The successful organization of the International Army Games and the victorious results of the Russian teams are also in the asset of your close-knit team.

I express special gratitude to the veterans who share their invaluable experience with young officers, helping to preserve the inextricable link between generations.

I am convinced that the personnel of the Main Directorate of Combat Training will continue to adequately continue the best traditions of their predecessors, effectively solve the important tasks of ensuring the military security of the Russian Federation.

I wish you all good health, happiness, prosperity, new achievements in service and work for the good of the Fatherland!
