Moscow will host for the fifth time voluntary qualification examination (DKE), registration opened on April 2. Third-year students will have to answer 70 questions, and fourth-year students and over 100. Testing will continue until the end of May.

This time, the list of professions for testing knowledge will increase to 60 (previously there were 50). Among the new ones are an energy specialist, a methodologist (methodologist of educational courses), a lawyer, a sociologist, an insurance specialist, a software tester, a pharmacist (pharmacist), a mining engineer, a geologist, and an IT project manager.

“We assume that this time about 20 thousand students will take part in the exam, as a result of which the total number of participants in the history of the project will exceed 40 thousand,” said the head

Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City Alexey Fursin

The first stage will reveal basic knowledge of the profession among the participants. On the second stage, they will have to solve real practical problems. Both stages will be held remotely. The experts of the companies will evaluate the participants. They will also select the best candidates for a job in the state.

This year, in a pilot mode, the second stage will be separately held in five regions: the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. Local employers will offer students practical tasks.

As part of the award ceremony, a round table will be organized with the participation of winners and employers. Students will be able to discuss the situation on the labor market with experts, get advice on employment and take part in an intellectual game.

Last year 282 people showed the best result. They scored 18-20 points out of 20 possible. 42 companies offered 180 children jobs and internships, among them the Moscow Government, Russian Railways, EMERCOM of Russia, Russian University of Transport, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and others.

The exam partners were especially interested in those who study in the specialties of “project manager”, “auditor”, “recruitment manager”, “logistics specialist” and “programmer”. In total, students from 371 universities took part in the exam.

For the first time, the voluntary qualification exam was passed in 2017, it was attended by almost 350 students
