This document was necessary when children were traveling without parents.

The requirement to present notarized parental consent when children check into a hotel will be excluded from the Rules for the provision of hotel services. The resolution on this was approved by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The decision is due to the fact that short trips for children (weekend tours, out-of-town excursions) are often comparable in cost to the services of a notary. In addition, such a condition turned into a hindrance if the child did not travel with his parents, but, for example, with close relatives.

Now from a minor upon check-in, only the written consent of one of the legal representatives will be required, which is drawn up in free form. At the same time, the possibility of obtaining a notarial consent is also preserved.

The decision made will simplify the organization of trips for children, save parents from unreasonable time and financial costs.

The document will be published.
