In the Black Sea Fleet (BSF), along with the ongoing vaccination of the military personnel of the Sevastopol garrison, they began to vaccinate family members of military personnel against coronavirus infection.

Vaccination of civilians as well as military personnel is carried out on the territory of the polyclinic 1472 of the naval clinical hospital in Sevastopol.

The start of vaccination of family members of military personnel became possible due to the recent arrival of the largest batch of the domestic vaccine GAM-Covid-Vak (“Sputnik-V”) in the Black Sea Fleet in the amount of approximately 15,000 doses of the drug.

The day before, the first component was inoculated by the crew of the small rocket ship “Grayvoron”, which was admitted to the fleet at the beginning of this year.

At the moment, more than 14,000 servicemen have been voluntarily vaccinated in the Black Sea Fleet, including the personnel of military units and subdivisions of the Southern Military District, stationed in the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

The vaccination of the personnel of the parade crews taking part in the preparations for the Victory Parade on May 9 continues.

Before the introduction of the vaccine, the specialists of the medical service inform about the effect of the drug “Gam-Covid-Vak” on the human body and conduct a thorough medical examination. Vaccination is carried out voluntarily and on the basis of the written consent of military personnel and their family members.

After vaccination, all military personnel are under medical supervision.
