Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko presented diplomas to graduates of the RANEPA program “Head of Digital Transformation”.

The ceremony was also attended by the rector of the RANEPA Vladimir Mau and the academic director of the Center for training leaders of digital transformation of the GSHU RANEPA Maria Shklyaruk.

The Digital Transformation Leader program is being implemented by the Center for the Training of Digital Transformation Leaders of the Higher School of Economics, RANEPA, within the framework of the federal project Human Resources for the Digital Economy.

Representatives of the management (deputy heads of a ministry or department) of the Emergencies Ministry, the Ministry of Sports, Rosstat, Rosleskhoz, Rospatent, Rosprirodnadzor, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Rostekhnadzor, etc. were trained at the center. A total of 50 people graduated from the course.

They developed 14 sectoral and interdepartmental projects on digital transformation, which were evaluated by an expert commission with the participation of Deputy Prime Ministers Dmitry Chernyshenko and Victoria Abramchenko, Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Maksut Shadayev.

In his address to the alumni, Dmitry Chernyshenko stressed: “President Vladimir Putin instructed to develop strategies for digital transformation of key sectors of the economy and social sphere by July 1 of this year. Graduates of the program have acquired knowledge and competencies that are very important for the country, immersed themselves in the culture of digital transformation and formed interdepartmental teams that can cope with this task. As for the projects presented by alumni for the defense, they are extremely relevant and realizable. I hope that the leaders of digital transformation will take them to their logical conclusion. “

During the ceremony, the rector of the RANEPA Vladimir Mau addressed the alumni: “The leader of digital transformation is one of the Academy’s flagship programs. When it was launched in early 2020, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin set us the task of preparing true leaders of digital transformation, in fact – “digital special forces”. As in the programs for training the personnel management reserve, the most important thing here is communication and connections, which subsequently make the interaction of our graduates in joint projects more lively and effective. “
