As part of the completed tactical and special exercise with units of a separate guards special-purpose unit of the Airborne Forces from Kubinka near Moscow, the personnel of the unit were provided with a new sample of dry rations for airborne forces, special forces and marines, the first batch of which entered the unit.

“A distinctive feature of the new sample of dry rations is its small size and nutritional value,” said Lieutenant Colonel Anatoly Samoilov, head of the food service of the guard unit. strength. This ensures rapid saturation and recovery of energy, which is very important in conditions of intense hostilities. Such provisions are vital for servicemen who serve outside their formations, ”stressed the head of the unit’s food service.

The dry ration includes a wide range of canned meat and meat and vegetable products, as well as the menu itself has been increased: stewed poultry meat or with potatoes and vegetables, piquant oriental liver, pilaf with beef, buckwheat porridge with liver and naval pasta.

In addition, the ration contains chocolate-nut paste, a high-calorie fruit stick, a dry milk drink and an increased volume of fruit and berry concentrate.

The weight of the ration is a little more than one and a half kilograms and less than the weight of the current food ration by more than 400 grams, which is very important for scouts. At the same time, the dry ration has not lost its calorie content.
