From July 1, 2021, the Unified Register of Types of Control (Supervision) will be launched in Russia. The decree on the procedure for its formation and administration was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The new register is being created as part of the reform of control and supervision activities. It will include all types of control at the federal, regional and municipal levels, as well as their description. In addition, the register will indicate which supervisory authorities will exercise a specific type of control.

The unified register will form a set of data that will be used by various information systems, including the Unified Register of Control Measures and departmental information systems. As a result, the entire set of control data in the country will become uniform. It will be possible to analyze it and make management decisions based on it.

In addition, the use of information from the register will prevent both technical errors and violations associated with the introduction of information that contradicts regulatory enactments. All information from the register will be available on the Internet, which will allow entrepreneurs to view a detailed description of each type of control, as well as find out how often inspections will be carried out in relation to their business.

In fact, we are talking about the digitalization of regulations and provisions, which will subsequently make it possible to systematize the control and supervisory sphere.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed to switch to new rules in the work of control and supervisory bodies and improve legislation. In this regard, a new law on control and supervision activities was adopted in 2020. Its main provisions will come into force on July 1, 2021.

The document will be published
