The research is carried out on the basis of 10 city polyclinics.
Recruitment of volunteers for a clinical study of the Sputnik Light vaccine has been completed in Moscow.
“In an international study, half of 6,000 volunteers are in Moscow – the required 3,000 people have already been recruited in the capital. They all went through a preliminary examination and received an injection. The study takes place at 10 city polyclinics. It is assumed that “Sputnik Light” will primarily be used to vaccinate those who have been ill. Also, preclinical studies of the nasal form of the coronavirus vaccine are underway in Moscow, and clinical trials of this drug may begin by the end of the summer, ”she said.
Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.
The Sputnik Light vaccine has already passed the initial stages of testing – the body tolerates it in the same way as the usual vaccination. The drug does not contain the coronavirus itself, which means that it is impossible to get sick with it or infect others.
The study uses digital developments that have proven themselves when working on the Sputnik V vaccine: electronic examination protocols, the Volunteer Diary mobile application and a telemedicine center.
Vaccination against coronavirus with Sputnik V continues in Moscow. Muscovites over 18 years old can get vaccinated for free at one of 100 points based on city polyclinics. They are open daily from 08:00 to 20:00.
You can get vaccinated without an appointment in public places where mobile teams work. Their schedule is published on website… In addition, you can get vaccinated in private medical clinics. At the same time, the vaccine itself remains free, you only need to pay for the services of the clinic for the injection.
