Employees of the Center for Engineering and Technical Support and Armament of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Komi Republic, together with a group of specialists from IK-31, began work on equipping the institution with the latest integrated security complex.

The structure of the complex is a centralized monitoring console, servers of local zones and servers of local sections of the perimeter, as well as specialized software developed specifically for this complex. Autonomous power systems create uninterrupted power supply to equipment in case of power outages and accidents at substations.

According to the specialists of the Center, the modernized system will bring the security of the institution to a new level and increase the technical security of the institution. The new hardware and software complex simultaneously performs several security functions: control over security and fire and alarm and call alarms, control and management of access, use of video surveillance systems (CCTV of analog and digital type), as well as voice communication and voice notification, control of executive devices, control of service. Previously, all this was done by several separate systems.

– With the start of the system operation, all information will be collected in one place. Thus, the data transfer rate and image quality from CCTV cameras will significantly increase. Security and alarm alarms will be displayed on the control panel for technical security equipment, access control and management will be updated at the checkpoint, – said the specialists of the Center.

The new complex meets all the requirements for the protection of correctional institutions and pre-trial detention centers.
