It will connect residential areas with the Nagatinsky Zaton metro station under construction.

A pedestrian bridge will be built in the Nagatinsky Zaton across the old bed of the Moskva River. The project was approved at a meeting of the City Planning and Land Commission (GZK) of Moscow.

The new bridge will connect residential areas near Rechnikov Street and Sudostroitelnaya Street with the Nagatinsky Zaton metro station under construction.

Anastasia Pyatova, chairman of Moskomstroyinvest and executive secretary of the State Enterprise Complex, noted that the length of the bridge will be about 430 meters (including the surface part – 220 meters), and the width – 12.75 meters.

It is planned that a bicycle path will be built here and it will be separated from the pedestrian part with special safety stripes.

The project will be implemented at the expense of the city budget. According to the adopted Targeted investment program By 2023, Moscow plans to build 271.9 kilometers of roads, 89 artificial structures, 56 pedestrian crossings, and 12 new bridges.
