We are talking about the industrial zones of Graivoronovo, Zyuzino, Kashirskoe Shosse, Beskudnikovo, Kuntsevo, Korovino and Teply Stan.
In Moscow, seven more sections of the former industrial zones will be put in order: Graivoronov, Zyuzin, Kashirsky Highway, Beskudnikov, Kuntsev, Korovin and Teply Stan. Draft decisions on the integrated development of territories were adopted at a meeting of the capital’s Urban Planning and Land Commission.
“The meeting approved projects for the integrated development of seven sites of former industrial zones, their total area exceeds 77 hectares. The sizes of the plots vary from 6.76 hectares in the Zyuzino industrial zone in the south-west of the city to 18.16 hectares in Graivoronovo in the south-east of the capital. In the future, modern eco-friendly production facilities, residential buildings, social facilities and the corresponding infrastructure will appear there. The implementation of these projects will allow the city to get about 18 thousand jobs “, – said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations
“Industrial buildings will occupy 173 thousand square meters, public and business buildings – 342 thousand square meters, it is also planned to build residential buildings. The terms of project implementation, depending on the territory, will be from five to 13 years, ”he added.
In addition, earlier, at the initiative of the city, decisions were made on the integrated development of four more territories. On the sites of the former industrial zones of Bratsevo, Chertanovo, Yuzhnoye Butovo and Altufevskoye Shosse, industrial and public-business facilities with an area of almost 60 hectares will appear. The latter two will also include residential buildings, medical, educational and sports facilities. Over 15 thousand jobs will be created here. The contracts for these projects are planned to be concluded in the second – third quarters of 2021.
Comprehensive development of territories allows giving a second life to practical abandoned urban areas. The first such agreement was signed in the summer of 2020. The investor will build facilities with a total area of almost 174 thousand square meters in the Oktyabrskoye Pole industrial zone, thereby creating more than 500 jobs. The total building area is almost six hectares. In addition to new housing, there will be two kindergartens, a school, a clinic and a technopark. Six years were given for this, but the investor plans to complete the work by 2024.
At the beginning of November 2020, the country’s first auction for the right to conclude an agreement for the integrated development of territories was held in the capital. Thanks to him, the Korovino industrial zone will be reorganized. In total, the implementation of such projects will allow the city to get about 500 thousand jobs.
In addition, adopted by the Government of Moscow decree allows you to quickly conclude contracts with investors who are ready to develop these territories. Previously, it took almost 340 days from the moment the decision was made on the MCT to the conclusion of the contract through the auction, but now this period reduced up to 170 days through tendering.
