In the Voykovsky District, the renovation program and “My District” continue to develop.
In 2021–2023 in the Voikovsky District (Northern Administrative District of Moscow), the “My District” program will continue. Its goal is to create comfortable living conditions in all districts of the capital (regardless of their distance from the center). As part of the program, a children’s polyclinic for 320 visits per shift will be built and put into operation at the address: Golovinskoe shosse, 6a. It is planned to locate a branch No. 2 of the children’s city polyclinic No. 133 here. Currently, it is located in a built-in room on the first floors of a residential building (Zoya and Alexander Kosmodemyanskikh street, building 4, building 2). And in the building of the former cinema “Varshava” after reconstruction, a district public center will open.

A major project in the field of creating a comfortable urban environment in the district will be the comprehensive improvement of the Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo park adjacent to the coastal zone of the Khimki reservoir. A beach will appear here, as well as sports areas, an observation deck and an amphitheater. The area of the territory where the work will take place will be 16.5 hectares.
The renovation program continues to develop in Voikovsky. 33 residential buildings with an area of 92.7 thousand square meters are subject to resettlement and demolition. They are home to 5.9 thousand people.
The stages of resettlement have been determined: at the first stage, three houses will be resettled (2020–2024), at the second – 13 houses (2025–2028), at the third – 17 houses (2029–2032).
The first house has already been built and put into operation at the address: Narvskaya Street, 5a. The new building is currently being populated.
Another launch pad has been selected at the address: Narvskaya Street, possession 5, building 1. The house is planned to be commissioned in 2024.
In 2019, a modern Streshnevo transport and interchange hub was created in the Voykovsky District, which united the reconstructed Streshnevo (former Leningradskaya) railway platform of the Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-2) with the station of the same name on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC).
“We have opened the MCC – two stations, the Streshnevskaya MCD station and, together with the MCD, have created a transport hub, we are engaged in landscaping,” said Sergei Sobyanin.
On Narvskaya Street, a children’s technopark “Engineeringium” of the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman. The guys study in scientific laboratories dedicated to underwater robotics, spacecraft and Arctic composite materials.
The building of the library number 21, which is located at 11 Klara Tsetkin Street, was repaired, as well as the building of the regional center of social services for the population. The Orthodox Church of the Holy Royal Passion-bearers was built and consecrated, located in the 6th Novopodmoskovny lane.
In addition, 27 courtyards and territories near five schools were landscaped: No. 1250 (Leningradskoe shosse, house 27), No. 1576 (Kosmonavta Volkov street, house 23), No. 717 (Zoya and Alexander Kosmodemyanskikh streets, house 4, building 3), No. 224 (Leningradskoe shosse, house 5) and No. 201 (Zoya and Alexander Kosmodemyanskikh streets, house 3, building 1).
In the evenings, the area became brighter and more comfortable – 116 additional lighting poles were installed.
