At the training grounds of the Amur combined-arms formation of the Eastern Military District (VVO) stationed in the Amur Region, the Jewish Autonomy and the Khabarovsk Territory, the field exit of artillery units has ended.

For a month, the artillerymen worked out the issues of bringing subunits to the highest degree of combat readiness, improved marching training, honed their combat skills.

During the training sessions, about 100 different types of training and fire missions were conducted with the artillerymen. They practiced artillery reconnaissance, firing positions, camouflage, firing from guns, both direct fire and from closed positions, adjusting and transferring fire, as well as performing counter-battery maneuvers.

Particular attention was paid to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for target reconnaissance, guidance and adjustment, as well as interaction with reconnaissance units.

During the development of the tasks, about 2000 shots were fired from guns of different calibers. Used ammunition with a total weight of about 70 tons. About 600 targets imitating command posts, columns of armored vehicles and manpower of a simulated enemy were hit.

About 2,000 servicemen took part in the field exit and 600 pieces of equipment for various purposes were involved.
