– One of the main tasks of attracting convicts to work is their re-socialization, assistance in obtaining labor skills, vocational education and obtaining a working specialty in demand on the labor market, – said the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Alexander Fedorov. – The penitentiary system has a huge production potential, which makes it possible to provide not only state needs, but also to effectively cooperate with business, contributing to the development of small and medium-sized businesses. However, these production facilities and jobs need to be developed and filled with government orders.

Also, the FPS noted that in accordance with federal legislation, the territorial bodies of the FPS of Russia can carry out mutually beneficial cooperation with enterprises of any form of ownership.
