At the second stage of the battalion tactical exercise, after the landing on the Voskhod-1 landing site, the reinforced paratrooper battalion will seize and destroy the supply and training bases of illegal armed formations (IAF) during the raid behind the mock enemy lines. Subsequently, the units will work out the task of conducting an offensive with the capture of an advantageous line, which they will have to hold until the main forces of the guards airborne assault formation approach.

At the final stage of the exercise at the Polyvna training ground, a reinforced battalion blocks and destroys the defending enemy from the standard armament of BMD-2K-AU airborne combat vehicles, 82-mm Podnos mortars, small arms, sniper weapons, RPG-7D grenade launchers, as well as rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers RPO-A “Bumblebee”.

As part of a planned check of the Airborne Forces units, more than 500 servicemen were involved in the exercise, about 100 units of military and special equipment of the reinforced paratrooper battalion of the Ulyanovsk Airborne Forces, three Il-76MD aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces were involved.
