A positively characterized convict of the Belorechensk VK of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory was given the right to attend cultural, entertainment and sports events outside the educational colony, accompanied by employees of the institution.
As a reward for exemplary behavior and conscientious attitude to study, the staff of the department of educational work with convicts organized for two teenagers a visit to the Orthodox Holy Dormition Church, the local history museum and “Victory Park” in the city of Belorechensk. In addition, within the framework of measures for the development of volunteering (volunteering), juvenile convicts were able to take part in putting things in order for the improvement of the territory around the monument to the “Tankists” in the village of Zarechny.
The practice of providing juvenile convicts with short-term travel outside the educational institution has been recognized as effective and is carried out in Belorechenskaya VK on a regular basis. Participation in such events stimulates adolescents to behave in a law-abiding manner, broadens their horizons, and helps to outline positive life goals.
