In the Sverdlovsk region took place “Great Exercises”. This is the name of the military-sports game, which this spring brought together the participants of the historical-patriotic club “Scout” named after the Hero of the Soviet Union N.I. Kuznetsova. The competition was timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the legendary compatriot and the 5th anniversary of the club. They were held with the support of veterans of the border guards of the KGB of the USSR “Border”, veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local wars, as well as employees of the Museum of Military Intelligence.

The exercises involved three teams of 20 people – “North”, “East” and “West”. These are the so-called army teams, consisting of students in grades 2 and 6. Each of them has its own makeshift base. The panel of judges includes high school students. On the way to victory, the guys need to go through difficult tests: an obstacle course with a net stretched low over their heads, a “minefield”, disassemble and assemble an assault rifle, fire an air rifle, throw training grenades into conventional enemy tanks.

“We specifically allow mixed teams of boys and girls of different ages to participate. Thus, older guys pull up the younger ones, help them, teach and support. And the younger ones are equal to the older ones, and they understand that their comrades in the youth army do not abandon each other in trouble. Such mutual assistance is very uniting and motivating. The games were held “with a twinkle” – for a long time because of the pandemic we had no opportunity to gather the guys together, “said Natalya Yakushina, chief of staff of the Talitsky branch of the Yunarmiya movement in the Sverdlovsk region and head of the historical and patriotic club” Scout “Natalya Yakushina.

The parents of the Yunarmeys also sat down during the period of covid restrictions. Inspired by the emotions of the children, they decided to quickly assemble their team and go through all the stages of the military-sports game.

“I was brought up in the spirit of patriotism,” Natalya Perekopay shared her emotions. “Therefore, I take part in all my son’s activities with pleasure.”

Participants of all ages were conquered by a master class from a dog handler with a shepherd dog named Brand. The expert revealed all the professional secrets: he told how they prepare service dogs, explained the nuances of raising and training a four-footed friend.

“This is the first time I have participated in the Great Exercise. The performance of the fighting dog made a strong impression on me. I really wanted to become a dog handler in the future. I haven’t decided yet, but I can say for sure about my plans for the near future – I’ll seriously prepare for the next games in order to improve my own result, ”Roman Perekopay from the youth army shared his impressions.

Based on the results of the “Great Exercises. Spring 2021 “the first place went to the” North “team. The second – at the “West”, the third – at the army “Vostok”. Anastasia Anufrieva was recognized as the best commander, who provided the “silver” to her detachment “West”.

But this is not the end yet, the landing of the ecological assault is ahead. At the end of April, the young soldiers of Talitsa will direct all their strength and power to collect waste paper and plastic. Young patriots will hold a series of subbotniks as part of the “Planet without Waste” campaign.

“By their example, the Yunarmeys show both their peers and adults how important it is to protect nature. The “Waste-free Planet” campaign has been held for the fifth year in a row. Our activists teach residents to be sensible about the environment: to collect and recycle recyclable materials. The young patriots themselves set more and more records for the collection of plastic and waste paper every year, ”explained the leader of the Youth Army, three-time world champion, six-time European champion and Olympic medalist Nikita Nagorny.

Recall that the All-Russian military-patriotic public movement “Yunarmiya” was created in 2016 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and with the support of the President of Russia. Now there are more than 775 thousand participants in its ranks. The main task of the movement is patriotic education, as well as the physical, intellectual and social development of young people.
