Moscow City Museuminvites you to the city flea market. Its theme in April is “The Leaving Nature”. The event will be attended not only by collectors and second-hand booksellers, but also by contemporary artists who will put up for sale works dedicated to the life and culture of past eras.

Visitors will be able to buy vintage clothes and jewelry, rare books and magazines, tableware and porcelain figurines, Soviet filmstrips, toys and badges. In addition, the program includes lectures by historians and Moscow scholars, jazz improvisations and DJ sets on vinyl.

The artist Alexei Mikulin will be a special guest of the city flea market. He will present his new work “Gostiny Dvor and Its Inhabitants” – a plasticine reconstruction of a 1970s building. The master accurately reproduced the texture and shades of the building itself, as well as the mise-en-scenes of the interior life of Gostiny Dvor.

On the eve of Cosmonautics Day, items from the private collection of the Moscow collector Marsel Gubaidullin “Space in Porcelain” will be shown. Guests will see vases, plates, decorative panels produced in connection with the achievements of Soviet astronautics.
