Residents will be able to start moving in the third quarter of this year.
The house, built under the renovation program in the Perovo area, will be handed over for occupancy this summer. More than 160 families will move to the new building, said the head Department of urban planning policy of the city of Moscow Sergey Levkin.
“More than 160 families from panel five-storey buildings on Plyushcheva Street, Building 9, Building 1 and Building 2 will receive offers of equivalent apartments in a new building in Plekhanov Street, Building 18. They will be able to start moving approximately in the third quarter of 2021,” said Sergei Levkin.
According to him, 15 launch sites have been selected for the wave resettlement of residents under the renovation program in the area, where more than 200 thousand square meters of housing can be built.
“Now nine objects are being designed in Perov, five houses are under construction and one more – on Zeleny Prospekt – is already being populated. At the first stage of the program until 2024, about five thousand people will receive new housing, ”the head of the department added.
In the Perovo area, 196 residential buildings with an area of 705.9 thousand square meters are subject to resettlement and demolition. A total of 1,062 houses in the Eastern Administrative District are included in the renovation program. More than 200 thousand people will be able to move to new apartments.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It provides for the resettlement of 5175 houses, thanks to which over a million Muscovites will be able to improve their living conditions and quality of life.
