The guys will shoot short videos about the architectural heritage of the Tagansky District. The best videos will be published on the social networks of the Department of Cultural Heritage.

Department of cultural heritage of the capital, together with the Tagansky District, launched a project for teenagers “Taganka # history & love”. The children are invited to come up with and shoot a short video about a favorite monument or historical building in the area. The best videos will be published on the pages of the Department of Cultural Heritage in social networks TikTok and Instagram.

“Tagansky district is one of the oldest districts of the capital. It is an integral part of the cultural and historical center of Moscow, where many unique monuments are located. We want to captivate the younger generation with the history of their area and instill a respectful attitude towards historical monuments, and since they still spend time on social networks, let them do it with benefit and tell them about the history of their area in their usual form, ”said the head of the Moscow City Heritage Site

Alexey Emelyanov.

As part of the project, schoolchildren will meet with famous bloggers filming stories about the historical architecture of the capital, local historians and television and radio hosts and directors. They will tell about the history of the Tagansky region and the most significant monuments.

Also in the capital, applications are being accepted for a video competition “Land of Discovery”… Until May 31, teenagers aged 15 to 17 can shoot short videos about their favorite places in their city. Then they need to be published on the TikTok social network, putting two hashtags – #country of discovery and the name of your city. The winners will be able to become ambassadors of their region, receive prizes, and also go on a journey with famous bloggers and directors on the unique children’s train “Russian Railways”.
