The final was attended by over 250 schoolchildren from more than 60 regions of Russia.

The All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Ecology has ended. Moscow schoolchildren have won 50 diplomas of winners and prize-winners.

The final stage took place in Stavropol on the basis of the North Caucasus Federal University. The closing ceremony was held online.

The competition was held from 7 to 13 April. In the final, the guys had to answer theoretical questions and defend the project. Several tasks were traditionally devoted to the region where the Olympiad was held, in particular to specially protected areas and the peculiarities of regional nature management.

In total, over 250 schoolchildren from more than 60 regions of Russia took part in the Olympiad.

The success of the national team is based on the great interest in the environment in the city, which is formed already in elementary school. All the children had access to the electronic course “World around” “Moscow Electronic School”, They took part in the Olympiad “Ready for life in a smart city” and a trial online stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren.

For members of the national team, the coaching staff of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence regularly held seminars, lectures, and workshops. Work with project managers was also organized.

The tasks for the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad were drawn up for schoolchildren in grades 9-11.

Earlier, the competition ended in seven subjects, namely: French, economics, chemistry, history, law, physics and computer science.

The All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is held in 24 subjects for students in grades 4-11. It takes place in four stages, including school, municipal, regional and final. The tasks of the last two stages are designed for schoolchildren in grades 9-11, but younger students can also participate in them. The winners and prize-winners of the final can enter without exams in any Russian university for directions corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad. The final stage is organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
