Military builders have completed the reconstruction of the historic 1902 barracks. The building was built in the eclectic brick style, which is characterized by the use of red brick as the main building material, therefore the interior decoration of the premises is made in the loft style.
During the reconstruction, the foundations were reinforced and waterproofed, vaulted ceilings were restored, new partitions, floors, roof, attic, fences, ventilation shafts were installed, window and door blocks were replaced, modern engineering networks were laid.
To resuscitate the old brickwork, in which about a hundred cracks were found, reaching four meters, the military builders used the most effective injection method. Thanks to the use of this technology, the strength of the walls is increased up to two times, which allows you to quickly and efficiently make repairs and waterproofing, while not removing damaged masonry areas.
The military builders managed to preserve the historical appearance of the building, while creating a modern, comfortable living environment. The barracks will comfortably accommodate 200 servicemen. For this, spacious and comfortable sleeping arrangements are provided, on the floors there are two sanitary blocks with showers, premises for consumer services. Also equipped with offices, a room for psychological relief, a gym.
On the territory of the military camp, the reconstruction of four barracks, which are objects of cultural heritage, has been completed, two more barracks and a canteen are in a high degree of readiness. The specialists of the military construction complex have complied with all modern requirements for buildings designed for the stay of military personnel: there is working, duty and emergency (evacuation and backup) lighting; mounted fire alarm, fire warning system, security systems (burglar, alarm, access control and management system, video surveillance). The barracks are equipped with devices for automatic control and regulation of heating and ventilation systems.
