In chapter “Active Citizen for Children”you can already find the fairy tale “Teremok”, which was read by the theater and film actor, member of the “Quartet I” Kamil Larin, the fairy tale “Gruffalo’s Daughter” told by TV presenter Nikita Pimenov, and others.
Comics for reading are also available there. Their heroes, young Muscovites, explore the city, go on excursions, solve puzzles and get acquainted with the electronic services of the capital.
The idea to create this section appeared in the spring of 2020 during the period of self-isolation. To prevent children from being bored of sitting at home, on the pages of the social networks of the projects “Active Citizen”, “Our City” and the crowdsourcing platform of the Moscow Government “City of Ideas” videos were published where famous actors, TV presenters, journalists, bloggers, teachers and psychologists read fairy tales , children’s stories and fables. As a result, it was decided to create a separate, independent section for children.
The Active Citizen project for online voting on urban development issues appeared in 2014. It is being implemented Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow and GKU “New management technologies”. During this time, more than five million people have joined it, of which almost two million will be in 2020. Residents of the capital determine which streets, courtyards and park areas need to be improved, how city polyclinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should work, and also choose events for festivals and celebrations. Since the start of the project, Muscovites have taken part in more than 4.8 thousand votes.
Majority decisions are implemented in the city. You can find out what has appeared in Moscow or has changed thanks to the voting on online map… More than 1.6 thousand objects have already been plotted on the diagram. And in the heading “Pulse of the Capital” you can evaluate the changes that have taken place in Moscow. Also, from the end of 2020, “active citizens” have the opportunity to send the points accumulated in the project to charity.
