During the flights, actions over the water surface and the discharge of extinguishing liquid, as well as aviation rescue technologies are practiced. Rescuers conduct trainings to improve the skills of splashdown with a parachute into the water and actions during the forced landing of an aircraft on the water.

Pilots of Mi-8 helicopters and Be-200 ChS aircraft have worked out in practice the peculiarities of piloting aircraft over the water surface with and outside the visibility of the coastline. A total of 120 flights were made.

As part of the gathering, the rescuers of the Centrospas detachment demonstrated new equipment and equipment for rescuing people with the help of an amphibious aircraft BE-200 ChS. These new boats are lighter and more mobile than their previous counterparts. Their use will make it possible to more effectively provide assistance to victims of water bodies.

In addition, the rescuers worked out one of the most difficult elements – the approach of the boat to the side of the water-down plane for transferring the victim to the aircraft and subsequent delivery to the airfield for assistance.
