There will be able to rest up to 200 people at a time.
In the southern part of the park of the Northern River Station, the arrangement of a recreation area on the embankment has been completed. Three pools and a floating pier for small vessels were made here.
“The area of the entire recreation area is more than four thousand square meters, of which 3.5 thousand are occupied by a beach with three pools, which is arranged above the water surface of the Khimki reservoir. At the same time, up to 200 people will be able to relax there, all the pools are equipped with a heating system, sun loungers, beach sofas and umbrellas will be installed next to them, “- said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for housing and communal services and improvement
The floating pier, which appeared in the park, is assembled from 14 pontoons. They are held by 56 reinforced concrete anchors. The pier is sheathed with a special terrace board. It is connected to the beach area by a special bridge.
As the Deputy Mayor of Moscow noted, the pier is equipped with 12 service columns for supplying electricity and water to moored ships. It was also equipped with navigation lights, water rescue equipment and mooring devices. Communications to the service columns are brought through cable channels and pipelines embedded in the structure of the floating pontoon. At the same time, 18 small boats with a length of 10 to 25 meters can approach the pontoon.
Pyotr Biryukov stressed that thanks to the large-scale improvement of the territory of the Northern River Station, Moscow received a unique urban space with a park and a promenade.
“As part of the landscaping, the park was restored to its historical appearance as much as possible, sculptures were restored and landscaped. Now it is one of the most favorite recreation places for Muscovites, where families come, because the park has both modern children’s play areas and sports grounds, as well as walking alleys and places for quiet rest, ”said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
