More than 900 young teachers from the capital took part in it, and 133 teachers reached the final.

The competition of youth initiatives “Young teachers for Moscow education” has ended in the capital. More than 900 teachers from the capital took part in it. This is three times more than last year.

“The nominations of the competition determine the vectors of development for Moscow teachers who have recently entered the profession. After all, today every teacher is necessarily a modern leader, capable of using new technologies in order to speak simply about complex things. And of course, a modern teacher is a person who has social intelligence and who knows how to teach children to be happy and fulfilled in a large multicultural metropolis, ”said Andrei Zinin, director of the City Methodological Center.

The competition was held in the nominations “Teacher-Leader”, “Teacher-Master” and “Professional Union”. In the first, the participants had to show leadership qualities and knowledge of the key competencies of the head of the school. In the second, the teachers demonstrated pedagogical skills with the help of videos, in which they explained difficult material to the children. In the third nomination, teams of teachers presented a map of a socially significant project for the capital. All participants also had to prepare a video presentation and write an author’s essay.

133 teachers reached the final of the competition. In the “Teacher-Leader” nomination, the participants presented a management project, in the “Master-Teacher” nomination they held an author’s master class, and in the “Professional Union” nomination they defended an educational project. In addition, all the contestants demonstrated effective communication skills in a pedagogical game and demonstrated intellectual abilities in solving cases.

The finalists shared their ideas on what needs to be developed in a modern school with the Deputy Head Department of Education and Science of the city of MoscowNatalia Kiseleva and Marina Ivanova, Chairperson of the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Education Trade Union.

“Competitions of professional skills give young teachers the opportunity to be heard, find like-minded people and understand in which direction it is necessary to move. Our task is to do everything so that teachers begin to interact with each other, since it is in the dialogue that new didactics, methods and techniques are born, and experience is exchanged. Everyone finds something important for themselves. Of course, this is a competition where there are winners, but it allows everyone to declare their pedagogical self and grow further. The competition is only moving forward, ”noted Natalia Kiseleva.

By the decision of the jury, in the nomination “Master-teacher”, the first place was taken by the teacher of school No. 1287 Natalya Medvedeva, among the laureates were Daria Yushina from school No. 2030 and Daria Dolishnaya from school No. 64.

The winner in the “Teacher-Leader” nomination was Kirill Zhelyabin, a teacher from the Kaptsov School No. 1520, and Marina Milovanova from School No. 1547 and Alexandra Timoshkova from School No. 2033 were laureates.

The team of teachers from school No. 1518 became the best in the “Professional Union” nomination, among the laureates there were teams from schools No. 814 and 1678 “Vostochnoye Degunino”.

“The competition was a breakthrough for me. He allowed me to discover in himself those sides that I did not even suspect. Each competitive test tested me for courage and willpower. I am sure that the experience that I have received will certainly help me in my professional future, ”noted Natalya Medvedeva, winner of the competition in the“ Master Teacher ”nomination.

The competition of youth initiatives “Young teachers for Moscow education” has become an important platform for teachers to reveal their creative potential, professional growth and exchange of experience.
