The forum will be dedicated to the development of smart cities and the adaptation of the urban environment to new technological solutions.

The business program will include three main areas: infrastructure and technologies of a smart city, a smart city for life, and sustainable development of a smart city. International and Russian experts will discuss how megacities are being transformed in modern conditions dictated by changes in society and the environment. Speakers will share the best cases in the field of healthcare development, transport logistics, telecommunications, culture and education. Experts will talk about urban development in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, changes in sustainable development strategy, infrastructure challenges and the deployment of IoT, Big Data and artificial intelligence technologies. Sessions will also focus on renewable energy in the city, creating a positive urban environment and much more. Various formats of interaction between experts are provided – from panel discussions and expert sessions to show-cases and case studies.

The two-day event will kick off the annual Smart Cities Moscow offline forum.

Moscow entered the top 20 of the Intelligence Tech Cities of the Future pilot ranking, which includes European cities that are the most promising for investments in technology, innovation and start-ups. In the Russian ratings for the quality of electronic services and digitalization of the urban economy, the capital invariably takes first place.
